The Alliance of Ministers and Evangelists (T.A.M.E. Ministry)

The TAME Ministry of Shield of Faith is the 25-year old Ministerial Alliance of our church that serves our church and community. The ministerial roster consists of more than 60 gifted and godly men and women of God who have been called by God to preach, teach and win and souls for the Kingdom of God. We offer counseling at the altar, preparation for water baptism, baptismal services and ministry to those who are seeking to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We stand with our Presiding Bishop, Henry B. Alexander to do the work of ministry in all ways as directed by God through our church leadership.

Ministerial Licensing - Our Shield of Faith TAME ministers are ordained or licensed through the Shield of Faith Fellowship of Churches, International, Inc. an international organization of more than 1,000 churches touching all continents of the world. We are qualified to offer Christian ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit to visit the sick, shut-in and incarcerated, expressing the love of Jesus Christ in practical ministry that meets varied needs of those around us.

Our Meeting Times - The TAME ministry meets on the First and Third Sunday Evenings in Worship Service at 6:00pm. In that meeting our ministers preach the Prophetic Word that God has given them. Everyone is invited to this uplifting service! Additional meetings are held quarterly as scheduled by the officers of the TAME ministry.

Our Training Resources – TAME ministered are taught and trained weekly through classes in the Christian Education hour taught by our pastor, Bishop Alexander. It is a privilege to meet face-to-face with our bishop on a weekly basis, and to draw on his 30 years of pastoral experience. Additional training is provided through the Shield of Faith Fellowship of Churches Pastors’ and Leaders’ Institute which convenes in February and August of each year.
