Dear Sisters,
Jesus really loved women. In the Bible we see that He protected them, befriended them, taught them, and esteemed them. And today…. Jesus really loves you! He wants to protect you, befriend you, teach you and encourage you.
As the Women of Excellence President, along with the W.E. cabinet, we have taken up the charge to share the love of God with every woman who is a member, visitor or friend of Shield of Faith Pomona.; to remind them that they are special and God has a great and wonderful plan for their lives.
Some of us are married women trying to meet the needs of children and husbands; others of us are single parents who are working hard to raise responsible and strong children. Some of us are unmarried women with questions about our futures. Some of us are grandmothers concerned about grandchildren. Someone one once said that Excellence is a journey not a destination. And we are in this journey together; the journey of becoming a better mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. Our diversity makes us stronger because each of us has special skills, gifts, talents and experiences that can empower and encourage each other.
So, I persuade you to fellowship with us. W.E. meets the 4th Sunday of each month and we have some exciting events coming up that has been especially designed with you in mind!
